The City of Saskatoon (pop: 210,000) is located on the banks of the South Saskatchewan River. The city is at the heart of a strong agricultural export market, has a growing mining sector and is known as the agriculture biotechnology capital of Canada. Saskatoon's growing downtown, thriving arts community, and hard-working mentality make it a wonderful city in which to study, work, live and visit.

The Saskatoon airport is about a 10-minute drive from downtown. It offers direct flights to and from most major Canadian cities. One stop or connecting service to the United States and international destinations are available.

If driving, Saskatoon is a

  • 2-3 hour drive from Regina
  • 5-6 hour drive from Edmonton
  • 7-8 hour drive from Calgary
  • 9-10 hour drive from Winnipeg
  • 4-5 hour drive from the U.S border (#52, #39)

Saskatoon is also serviced by VIA Rail and Greyhound Bus.
