With about 27,000 people on campus daily, the University of Saskatchewan is a significant driver of the rapidly growing economies of both the city and the province. Located at the north end of campus is Innovation Place, a highly successful research park that was built, in part, on the commercialization, innovations and discoveries made at the University of Saskatchewan. The University of Saskatchewan also houses world-class facilities like Canada's only synchrotron and the recently opened International Vaccine Centre (InterVac). World-class facilities like these not only enrich the academic and scholarly experience of both faculty and students, but generate new knowledge across a broad range of disciplines.
